Hello new followers. I'm a middle-aged man who occasionally finds time to play videogames in between parenting, work and exhaustion.

Thanks for joining me.

That's quite the shiner! Big book, was it?

It both gave me an appreciation of so much more of Nintendo's history... and it's so jam-packed full of errors that a super-nerd like me can really enjoy feeling smug about it.

It's very funny when you say "Not to sound like..." because it's always exactly what you do sound like, but also it's fine? Take care of that fuckin' wood, you loon, and don't take any shit about it!! You've earned that much, right?

Tag your copy. I'm middle row far right.

Few books have been graced with as many titles as David Sheff's "GAME OVER"

Check your shelf...you probably have a version of it somewhere...

It's so weird when I try an old game out for the first time, and within hours someone is talking about it on my feed.

(I'm having an Irem arcade kick at the moment)

Matthew Broderick is given the impossible task of convincing the audience that the wacky, lovable Cable Guy is a real and increasing threat to him.

Impossible, because Matthew Broderick is the human edition of this Far Side cartoon.

Oh yeah, that's a solid nope right there. Blocked solid!

I'm still 85% convinced that's Baby Rosalina, and 60% convinced that this will still somehow tie into the Mario Galaxy Movie for some reason.

It's the Smallest Fry's 4th birthday today. She is moving up to proper Lego sets and boy is she excited!!

Happy birthday, Daan!

I did the books as well... and GOOD GRIEF that was a ride! And not often a good ride.

The TV show is better. I don't know if it gets worse as much as never gets less the same and wears thin pretty fast.
nindb.net
I mean... I really couldn't disagree more.

I remember the Well Red Mage from Twitter. He was always a drama grifter and eventually I muted or blocked him.

I would like to apologise for previous comments I have made. But only until I get my royalties back from that charity!! Haha, suck it, boners!
nindb.net
I know they do. That's why I'm going insane right now. Because that's Illumination animation and character design and that's so obviously Baby Rosalina DAYS after the next film is confirmed to be based on Galaxy.
nindb.net
I remember when mouthy dickheads quickly learned to shut the fuck up! Haha, good times.
nindb.net
Rosalina HAS a backstory. So much so, the devs fought Miyamoto in hand-to-hand combat to get it into Mario Galaxy. True story.
nindb.net
I mean... That's Baby Rosalina, right? This is clearly Illumination animation from the Mario Galaxy movie. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

As it is, I'm sick of each song looooong before they end.
nindb.net
That album would be full of catchy bangers if someone had the mind to trim the production costs by 60% and had the nerve to cut each song short by around half.
