I really wish we'd stop calling them climate "skeptics" or "vaccine skeptics", if you jump off a cliff we don't call you a "gravity skeptic"

That sound you heard was every GOP elected official with a lick of sense absolutely SHITTING themselves thinking about the visual of Mark Kelly back in uniform before a military court as Whiskey Pete's handpicked chucklefucks try to railroad him on bogus charges.

Comey: "I'm grateful the court ended the case against me, which was a prosecution based on malevolence & incompetence... I was inspired by the career people who refused to be part of this travesty. It cost some of them their jobs, but it preserved their integrity, which is beyond price"

The world is a better place with Patti Smith in it. @ezraklein.bsky.social has great questions and edits in snippets of audio in a wonderful way.

A Trump supporter started murdering his way through an assassination list of Democratic law makers FIVE MONTHS AGO. He murdered my colleague Melissa Hortman, and her husband Mark — and attempted to assassinate my dear friend John Hoffman and his wife Yvette. I was also on the hit list. WTF

Has anyone written the hardcore business story: Target shit the bed on its values and customers and wrecked the business?
What an epic fuck-up. Alienating your core customer is a bad business idea.
Target said it doesn’t think holiday sales will be enough to turn around a tough year.

These things are always hard to measure, but the Copenhagenize Index ranks Montreal as the 15th most bike-friendly city in the world.

Top 5 in North America:
1. Montreal
2. Quebec City
3. Vancouver
4. Portland
5. Minneapolis

I worry we’ll fall in the next few years though!

To all the weirdos defending Megyn Kelly: 15 year olds are underage, and that is statutory rape.

Pretty simple
November 14, 2025 at 3:27 AM
Actually barely illegal, Megyn, but that is beside the point, you sicko.

Would you shrug if this were your 15 year old daughter raped by dirty old men?
@timmiller.bsky.social torches Megyn Kelly as she spins Epstein’s abuse of 15-year-old girls as “barely legal” types to protect Donald Trump.

Yet again, the administration chooses not to feed hungry Americans.

This is the very definition of callous. They could just follow the court order and do it.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Cuz of EVs.

I think I saw there are 50 makes and models with 400 miles of range, most under $50K.

In US, there are 4 models available over 400 miles of range, all over $75K.
"Far from a peak, China's gasoline demand is estimated to have fallen 9% in October on the year to 12.5 million tons, with average daily use roughly flat with September..."

China's oil demand is entering structural decline.

On “JDVance’s bullshit politics.”
Shapiro: He rose to some prominence by writing a book about growing up in Appalachia, where there are a whole lot of people who get SNAP. He made millions of dollars off telling their stories, and then he turned his damn back on those very people he likes to write about and claim as his own.
