when i was a kid, one day all these "Caribbean" people showed up at our school in a van. They came into the classes, showed us steel drums and Caribbean music etc. and we all got cans of Lilt. It was odd but Always remembered it fondly.
Years later it occurred to me it was a Lilt promotions team.

I remember when there was a discussion on Twitter about Shein's manufacturing practices and some apologists invented all sorts of fantastical machinery and technology to avoid facing the more horrifying truth. Reminds me of this comedian's joke.

As far as I remember it was Sky that cut Data's reunification of Ireland line from STTNG
More politically, there’s a scene in the teacher’s strike episode where Homer says “If you don’t like your job, you don’t strike! You just go into work every day and do it really half-assed! That’s the American way!”. The last two lines used to get cut out on Sky, so it’s just an anti-striking line.
