In Oslo, four articulated buses trapped themselves in a roundabout yesterday.

Among all the many absolute cringe-yourself-inside-out aspects of the "Elon Musk uses Grok to be fun at parties" thing, I can't get over the fact that he describes what he wants it to do as "vulgar". VULGAR. Like a 90 year old nun describing a revealing neckline.

My lovely local pottery place got done over last night (including a smashed window) by some vile people, go buy their wares! They have lots of nice things for the upcoming season, including gorgeous ceramic tree decorations, and you can order online if you're not nearby: brookwoodpottery.com

Aw, Jimmy Cliff. First thing that popped into my head was his appearance on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, where he reduced the sometimes very abrasive Mark Lamaar to putty belting out 'Many Rivers to Cross'

STILL THIS. Could have been worse at MBV but there was still one guy in front of me who had his phone up for ages recording Every. Single. Song. I nearly went full Shoegaze Nana on him but eventually just gave up and moved.
I am greatly enjoying this festival but the next person to hold a phone up in my eyeline and film half a song is getting their phone grabbed and flung into a random part of the crowd.

Three excellent nights of music down, two to go. I do feel a bit like I'm at a very slow-motion festival...
Someone please explain to my elderly knees why I have somehow filled in the one night when I'm not going to a gig this week with another gig.

If there are an infinite number of universes, it is therefore inescapable that every possible outcome exists somewhere in the multiverse. We could be living in the universe where Burke – in the finest Irish tradition – has gone on the run dressed as a woman.
Gardaí have been unable to locate Enoch Burke after twice calling to his house yesterday to imprison him for contempt of court.

A High Court judge ordered the former teacher's return to prison on Tuesday.

I mentioned earlier that they chew on Nile Crocodiles - I wasn't kidding, baby Hippos use them as teething rings since the texture of their scales is satisfying to gum.

Just this 12' long razor-toothed archosaur, sitting there going "stay calm, Clarence, you survived the asteroid, you can do this."

This is a great and infuriating story about a wonderful musician (listen to anything you can get your hands on! he's great!) who's been royally fucked over by a record company.
