Black Ice now has an OVERWHELMINGLY POSITIVE review score. It's also on sale right now if you'd like to become a hacker helping people get healthcare in our fast-approaching corporate dystopia. Don't forget to leave a ❤️ review store.steampowered.com/app/311800/B...

Wow, looks like an entirely different game (a better one)
I did this in Black Ice and they're also all lava waterfalls 🔥
the trick is to put treasure behind *one* waterfall, then the player will never stop looking
WHEN THERE’S TREASURE BEHIND THE WATERFALL: Oh wow. Yes, very clever! Waterfall treasure! No one’s ever done that before. Lazy jackass

WHEN THERE’S NO TREASURE BEHIND THE WATERFALL: Wow. Too stuck-up to put treasure there huh? Too much of a fucking ICONOCLAST for that? Piece of shit. FUCK you
I know it's not the kind of break you deserved but I hope you make the most of this time to recover!
That's why it's so scary! 😱
You could also webhook the data directly to a google sheet.
I have somehow gained a lot of games I've never heard of. I don't buy games on that account but now I have 36.
I try not to talk about my chess school business too much but it's so much fun and I'm learning way more about how young people process game rules and learn through play. Plus I've nearly finished workshopping a new videogame that's chess + 100 extra rules with some spooky cosmic opponents.

How over- and underrepresented are different causes of death in the media?

Another way to visualize this data is to measure how over- or underrepresented each cause is.

To do this, we calculate the ratio between a cause’s share of deaths and its share of news articles.

I think what's impressive about TRON is that, visually, it's still so much more interesting than any of it's sequels. It's crazy that they tried update this digital world by making it as 'realistically rendered' as possible. It's a complete misunderstanding of the original's charm.
a still from TRON (1982) a still from TRON (1982) a still from TRON (1982) Still from TRON (1982
Was lucky to chat with @futuregamesshow.bsky.social about writing and acting for The Matrix Online, along with "Rarebit" @smbhax.bsky.social. It was so much fun to relive those old memories of building live events and ARG puzzles for such a dedicated community.

Really looking forward to share this with the world. Finally I've done something to please the shareholders.
Consistency definitely helps. But in your video, the wall, the socketed object, and the cable connected to it all appear to be the same color so there's no contrast drawing attention to it.

The first time players encounter this mechanic, how will they know they can remove it?
Unfortunately that's the point of design rules, so that everyone easily understands at a glance.

I suppose you could make the highlight diegetic, like having the socketed objects be lit when they're connected.
It definitely needs a highlight or interaction prompt of some kind. Or make it a different color from the background, with all interactable objects being the same color.
Give doc money and he'll buy and launch Saturn V Rocket (1/5th scale) to the moon.
I should have expected this.
The Blue Prince conference room covered in piles of dirt.
I fear we have become too knowledgeable about the solar system of Blue Prince.
The Diploma Trophy for acing the classroom exam.
Two teachers taking this exam with a 27-tab spreadsheet. I think we aced it?
You have to add a 9th classroom to your draft pool.

If you have a finished or mostly finished game, you can still submit to the Indie Games Festival competition by October 10 (11:59 PST) submit.igf.com

This can be a great way to get visibility from developers and journalists across the industry, especially if you're submitting a student game!

Imagining someone throwing a shoe at a vulture 700 years ago and the vulture flying off with it. And now that shoe will be in a museum.
