As you know, my usual content is mostly automotive. Whether it's drawings or daily spotting.

I've been quiet recently & because I enjoy puzzling, I decided to create a couple.

My finest work yet.
The finished pie cooling on the windowsill. It took a full 2 and a half hours to fully cool and the filling to set. Extremely difficult to be patient! Cross section after removing a slice, the filling has stiffened up enough to hold together. Perfect. You can still tell if you're eating a slice of apple or pear, they're not stewed to oblivion. Perfectly sweet with the brown sugar and cinnamon. Pastry was also good, but store bought.

It's a great day to bake a pie
Sliced apples and pears, with brown sugar, cinnamon and a bit of flour to thicken the juices. Rolled out shortcrust pastry filled to the brim with the pie mixture A rough and rustic lattice over the top! Out of the oven and cooling on the windowsill
