Theatrical anime is doing (better than) Hollywood numbers, with Chainsaw Man even getting a lot of IMAX screens. And it's been fascinating to see the conversation and reviews move from genre and enthusiasts sites onto just movie sites and movie sections. It's not nerd culture anymore. Just culture.
