Trump's Epstein Files Coverup is an affront to justice and an insult to survivors.

Delays... redactions... deletions. They're trying everything.

Trump's priority is protecting himself and his powerful buddies.

Yesterday we were all waiting in the Epstein line. Today, the entire country has turned into investigators, tracking which files are disappearing. Sixteen gone so far. There’s been a remarkable amount of teamwork, with people working together to identify the missing documents.

Fudali: The survivors have been wronged by administration after administration, Justice Department after Justice Department, for decades and decades. This is nothing new for them. They were exploited by Epstein, and then they were exploited by the politicians who surrounded themselves with Epstein.

I trust major news organizations, members of Congress, and public interest groups are publicizing their secure tip lines so DOJ and FBI employees with knowledge of political interference in the Epstein files review process, can explain safely and confidentially what they saw.

This is one of the pictures the Justice Department removed from the Epstein files release:

A picture of a table with framed photos of Epstein and famous people. There are two photos of Trump in the picture — including one of him surrounded by women in bathing suits.

📌"Missing are FBI interviews with survivors and internal DOJ memos examining charging decisions — records that could have helped explain how investigators viewed the case and why Epstein was allowed in 2008 to plead guilty to a relatively minor prostitution charge."

Impeach Pam Bondi RIGHT NOW.

Finally, if you can get through the paywall this piece from earlier in the week illuminates how the experience above is just a tiny part of an industrial-scale, global, and sector-wide catastrophe of AI and citations to nonexistent papers in academic publishing bsky.app/profile/mile...
Academics and technologists are sounding the alarm about a growing crisis in scholarship as we know it: AI-generated citations of nonexistent papers that have infested real journals. Despite being fake, the sources are widely assumed to be authentic the more they appear in published literature.
AI Is Inventing Academic Papers That Don't Exist -- And They're Being Cited in Real Journals
Academic articles from authors using large language model are creating an ecosystem of fake research that threatens human knowledge itself.
