This clip is really quite beautiful, about life, love and greyhounds.
Tomorrow's episode of Bold Politics is so so rare in British politics: real people who are unafraid to just be themselves for an hour because they know they don't have to protect any vested interests.

It's time for a clearout of robots in Westminster.

Arsenal might win the league. Tottenham might get relegated. Now if we can just get Trump in jail, that's my three wishes used up.

I don't like it when ReSharper and Visual Studio actively tell me to remove unnecessary brackets, when I think they aid readability, and make it clear that the developer has considered and confirmed the order it should be in.

League Cup Final tickets bought. Wembley nervousness kicking in 5 weeks early. Hopefully the first #Arsenal trophy of the season. Come! On! You! Gunners!

Hannah is obviously going to be the best pick for the by-election rather than Reform's nut job, and that's before you've seen a photo of her with four greyhounds and looking like the next Doctor Who.
#HannahSpencer who was joined by her four #greyhounds for the campaign event in #GranadaPark, told supporters her life had changed "dramatically" since she had been announced as the party's by-election candidate

I just signed a petition calling for an urgent investigation into Peter Mandelson's dealings with Palantir. Did he use his position as UK Ambassador to benefit the US spy tech firm? Sign now: www.foxglove.org.uk/campaigns/ma...

Just a word of thanks to our fantastic media. Despite my racist bullying at school, having a senior colleague imprisoned for being a traitor, breaking the MPโ€™s Code Of Conduct 17 times, my dodgy house purchase and even being in the Epstein Files, nobody is demanding I resign!

This is quite incredible and well worth 5 minutes of your time.
If you are baffled by why the jury refused to convict the Palestine Action defendants, it's because โ€“ unlike them โ€“ you didn't hear the actual evidence. You heard what the media wanted you to know.

Here, I explain what the jury learnt from the trial: jonathancook.substack.com/p/barristers...
Barrister's powerful speech at Filton Trial reminds jury of its right to defy judge
Starmer and the media need convictions to justify Palestine Action's proscription as a terrorist group. Rajiv Menon KC spells out to the jury why it is a vital last defence against government tyranny

That match was a little more tense than I was keen to see, but Arsenal is on its way to Wembley. I'd better arrange some child care. #UTA

This perfectly demonstrates the pernicious nature of BBC two-sidism.

It almost always benefits the side with the most power.

In this case that's the side which is murdering peaceful protesters in the street, on camera, and then lying about it
The BBC coverage is absolutely terrible.

It leads on "sharply contested narratives"

It has a dramatic skew to the US government

It has posted the video but has failed to report on what it shows: it shows the US govt account is untrue

Neil Coyle MP has written a brutal takedown letter to Nigel Farage for his breach of parliamentary protocol, because Farage visited Coyle's London constituency without notifying him. 10/10 no notes.

An excellent thread debunking the Daily Hate's headline.
๐ŸงตA political/media guide to the "truth" about net-zero

1) Add up costs to install & run a net-zero energy system
2) Pretend fossil-fuelled alternatives wld be free
3) Do say "eco zealots are bankrupting us"
4) Don't say "free cars if we scrap net-zero" cos it sounds ridiculous
5) That's it!

I was in a preview screening of Double Jeopardy when the villain revealed that his name was Nicholas Parsons. 1,500 people burst out laughing. (One for UK folks of a certain age.)
I would like to hear if you have ever had one (1) transformational experience in a movie theater. Don't care if it's high art or low, somber or funny, poetic or banal - I just want to hear about that one time at the movies that changed you at the atomic level.
