This is a pretty good view on the current versions of all these LLM tools. And a big problem is that none of the current tech is actually building towards something better.
In a way, it's kind of like the death penalty to me, in theory there's an avenue where I'm not completely against it, but right now it just costs too much, it's done too stupidly, and it just shouldn't exist until there's a better system.

Ok, AFTER the weird fantasy war novel, I'll write the former-assassin-turned-gardener-detective book. With how long it takes me to ruminate these days, I figure it's good to make this decision NOW 😆. That's going to be a beast of a plot. This one is pedestrian, in comparison.

This is precisely the problem, the refusal by centrist elites to differentiate between challenging ideas and debunked lies. It's not "challenging" to hear that black people are stupid or gay people are degenerates, it's just wrong.
They never complete the sentence, ie "...educators and students must face ideas we find offensive, such as the claim that Black women lack the brain processing power to fly planes or serve on the Supreme Court or that gay people should be stoned to death." Pretty telling that they don't!
