Better take on the combo system getting you rewards replacing horse riding with dragon flying on the ground magic system has more variety then the musou system no longer just being an invincible screen clear no baby sitting shitty ai who will literally kill themselves at the cost of mission variety

Anyway playing dynasty warriors 2 has made me realize how much drakengard 1 improved on the musou formula like yeah 3 is better then both but the musou gameplay wasn’t ever the gameplay focus they were just told to copy dw2 and they did it and made it better

Games just very rough and the amount of baby sitting you gotta do and how you gotta grind for stat ups because stats dont raise unless you pick up an item to raise them your “level” only determines the max of each stat you can level up
