i was finally able to get into stoat! i also have been using irc for a little bit (with the halloy client) and both have been incredibly pleasant experiences so far. discord is convenient but it's not convenient enough for me to feel like it's irreplaceable

i just had to solve one of the biggest computer mindfucks i've ever had and in this instance i'm glad linux was having issues because it A. showed me something was wrong and B. taught me a lot about how UUIDs work

floorp has been kinda disappointing me lately by still choosing to put AI into the browser and floorp itself being buggy in multiple ways, so i've moved back to zen and i discovered you actually CAN still make completely custom themes. it's just janky but it works

post update, the gui frontend i prefer for yt-dlp has completely stopped functioning. i prefer guis over anything usually even though i'm fine with cli applications, but the problem now is that i have to use another fork with a gui that wigs me out
