Interesting to note that red kites re-introduced to Buckinghamshire from Spain in 1989 are now helping to re-establish Spanish populations.

A white British father and son BOTH raped the same child and pled guilty to multiple counts of Sexual assault.

This has been in the press for 2 days.

The Mirror is the only National newspaper to report on it…

And THAT’s why people have such a skewed perception of the links between race and SA🤷🏼‍♀️

The Crown Estate, which owns seabeds around the British coast, is charging offshore wind developers extortionate fees to build turbines. And keeping our energy bills high.

I’ve signed a petition to stop the King from profiting at Britain’s expense. Will you join me? --> act.gp/48sDgCs
King Charles: Stop Profiting At Britain’s Expense!
Energy bills are soaring, and the King is getting rich at our expense. Sign the petition to demand the Crown Estate lower fees on seabeds and make wind farms more affordable to build.

UK public has paid £200bn to shareholders of key industries since privatisation.

In public ownership that would have gone into infrastructure, lower bills.

Privatisation delivered low investment, high bills, no tax on dividends to foreign investors.

No end to nightmare without public ownership.

A footnote to domestic tasks: when OH was learning Spanish, she came across the phrase “quehaceres domésticos.” She reckoned it was because you looked at everything piling up and exclaimed “¿qué hacer, qué hacer?”

#Caturday.
Ideally, I should like to sit on a comfy chair, preferably the one by the radiator.
But it’s raining outside.

Reform UK have accepted £9 million from foreign-based businessman Christopher Harborne.

Here's what Reform Deputy Leader Richard Tice thought in 2018 about George Soros donating to UK groups:

"He doesn't live here. He doesn't pay taxes here. What right has he got to interfere with our democracy?"

Darius. He’s 17, and no longer knows which way’s up. He smells a bit. All our cats were abandoned as kittens. But he still gets on my lap, and sometimes has the sense to settle down comfortably. If he makes it till the spring, he’ll probably enjoy being outdoors again.

Those are not things you should be able to buy in a democracy.

That's profit stolen from you through the Banks, Energy Companies, and Supermarkets they own.

70% of the additional spending from removing the two-child limit will go to families who are in work. This is targeting support for low-income working households who are being priced out of a decent standard of living despite doing everything asked of them.
