I’m not sure the food and drink would match very well.

Define your terms.
I would only admit to knowing a small amount about it, but that is enough to make me want to keep it

As revealed by Channel 4 News’ documentary, UK arms exports to Israel have hit record highs — £408,000 in June and £316,000 in September.

The government says it’s restricting sales, but the data says otherwise.

The UK must end all arms sales to Israel now.
A bold black-and-white Green Party graphic with the slogan “REAL HOPE. REAL CHANGE.” at the top. The main message in large capital letters reads “END ALL ARMS SALES,” with “END” highlighted in green and underlined. The Green Party logo and name appear at the bottom.

You need to rewrite the last sentence to include “so that hardworking people can be exploited by greedy landlords, and that includes some Labour MPs”

On the one hand you have Jenrick wanting to purge judges he deems too liberal, on the other you have Labour wanting to crack down on our democratic freedoms and stop us demonstrating.
Not looking good

When is a major figure from Labour going to spell it out to him?
Parliament makes the laws, and the judges interpret and administer it.
If politicians don’t like the results than they have to modify the laws.
That’s how democracy works.
(Maybe Labour aren’t too happy about that either)

This lurid headline is about British tourists no longer getting away with overstaying in Schengen. Or being 'illegals', as it's often called in the UK.

Is it possible that this will trigger scientific research to find a different propellant that is less damaging?
A bit like CFCs in fridges. Nobody is suggesting that asthmatics should stop being treated, and the medication itself isn’t called into question.

J’ai bien une idée pour la nomination d’un nouveau premier ministre, mais je sais pas si c’est très constitutionnel.

I thought that the English title of Huis Clos was In Camera.
Never mind, the punchline still holds good in this context: “L’enfer, c’est les autres.”

I must admit I would rather have wine with your breakfast, though I wouldn’t want to start drinking so early in the day.
And café con leche has too much milk for me.

Our media lets us down badly :

Labours accomplishments - rarely mentioned

Nigel Farage’s house - dropped/ignored

Nathan Gill’s admission of working for Russia - zilch

Russia/Iran funding Reform/Farage - silence

Instead they spread lies on the Budget/MPs/anything to discredit Labour

Why????

Now there we hit a snag. I find the only one that works for me is cheddar. In fact it’s what I think Cheddar is really suited to, which shocks the West Country end of the family, who revere the stuff

EU cattle farmers are whining about veggie burgers, but as this recent study explains, eating less meat and more vegetables is both good for humans and good for the planet.

The recommendations are pretty much what I started earlier this year.

What should be ‘un-British’ is the heavy-handed policing and proscription of Palestine Action.

Sadly, however, if follows a longstanding British tradition, from the suppression of the Peasants’ Revolt via the Peterloo massacre to the Battle of Orgreave.

Starmer calling pro-Palestine protestors "un-British" barely counts as a dogwhistle tbh, it's straight up racism.

I don't remember him calling Just Stop Oil "un-British" no matter how annoyed he got
