executive function is only one aspect of ADHD, and those aspects can vary in severity. executive function particularly is impacted by other things such as trauma and PTSD, and is probably why it’s been harder for you to function this year. same confounded mechanism :P

Paradoxically, this seems to also manifests in the polar opposite behavior patterns in some, but is still ultimately because the good reward juices our brains get from tasks is so negligible that folks need to do way, way more just to stay ahead of the point in which your brain says 'no'

It is very difficult for most people to understand that the 'reward' thing is a little signal that allows you to Try. Neurotypical folks will probably never have a sense of this mechanism, but it is as if someone told you to lift a mug and despite every fiber of your being wanting to, you cannot.

I think there needs to be a wider discussion about how badly disabled folks are treated in political spaces. Conservatives and liberals both have an ableism issue. I've seen/have been told by folks all over the political spectrum that my death is acceptable collateral. Unfortunately, I do not agree.

an adaptation of the sandy loam chart, aka, a triangle where each side is an axis from 0 100, forming triangular little pockets in the center in a pseudo-3-axis chart form. the three axes are "hoinky sploinky" "doinky woinky" and "rinky dinky," each with a "pure" form (penis music, furret walk, and ukelele covers respectively). there is a minor screed here about electroswing sucking, which it does.

Revisiting this tail. All foam construction with a strip of silicone poured directly into the foam poured strength and added movement. I'm just going to do this as a standard thing on my tails going forward.
