Rand Paul on his healthcare plan: "What if you could join Costco? Costco has 44m members and if one person negotiated for all 44 and they bought a group plan like Toyota or General Motors does, they would be the largest collective entity in the country. They would drive prices down by sheer might."

NN: There was a similar bailout for farmers during the first Trump admin & the top 1% of farmers got 25% of funds. What are you doing to ensure that doesn't happen?

ROLLINS: Based on these different formulas the really smart people have put together that trend toward supporting the smaller farmer

“These deals are real” is the kind of thing you never need to say when you make real deals.
Brooke Rollins: "These deals are real. No one in the history of our country has ever been able to effectuate deals like this. We won't see the effect until next year."

Scott, a thriving bond market ain't exactly an indicator of a thriving economy.

But, of course, everyone in this crowd is too shit stupid to know what a bond is in the first place.
Scott Bessent rallies Trump supporters in Pennsylvania: "The bond market had its best year since 202,0 and if I have anything to say about it as your nation's top bond salesman, bonds will have another strong year in 2026 as we fight to bring treasury borrowing costs down."

The President's Affordability Tour begins with a central message: Cheer up. You can easily do without and enjoy it. And it teaches your entitled kids a healthy lesson. Also steel. That's a real need.
Trump: "You can give up certain products. You could give up pencils. Because under the China policy, every child can get 37 pencils. They only need 1 or 2. They don't need that many. You always need steel. You don't need 37 dolls for your daughter. 2 or 3 is nice. So we're doing things right."

uh, hol' up for a second.

The implication here is that the boat had capsized? So you have a strike that kills most of the occupants and capsizes the boat and the guys *in the water* are trying to un-capsize their boat...in order to not drown.

That, uh, that sounds pretty hors de combat.
Q: What did you see in the second strike?

Cotton: "I saw two survivors trying to flip a boat -- loaded with drugs, bound for the United States -- back over, so they could stay in the fight."
