We were *this close* to protecting affordable healthcare. 212 House Democrats and 38 in the Senate stood strong. But 8 broke faith with us. They caved to MAGA cruelty. We’re not asking them to flip—we’re telling them they failed the people who trusted them. 📞 (202) 224-3121 (tel:(202)%20224-3121)

At the core of the program is the idea that there's no separation between what happens within the church and in the government.

Based on these betrayals, I am almost at the point that I would support holding Congressional elections every 2 years. These ppl are too comfortable in these seats. And our memories are too short. At least a polling vote. Those who get more than 55% disapproval must hold an election.
These are the 8 Democratic and Independent Senators who betrayed us and voted against ACA subsidies:

Dick Durbin (IL)
Angus King (ME)
Catherine Cortez Masto (NV)
Jacky Rosen (NV)
Maggie Hassan (NH)
Jeanne Shaheen (NH)
John Fetterman (PA)
Tim Kaine (VA)

I go with the part that Schumer was unable to stop them. The work to protect ppl with no options still remain. A loss no less. What is wrong with these ppl. ? They were the kids who took sides with the bullies out of fear.
The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

It was not the first time Trump treated federal funds as his personal property that he could use to extort political opponents or reward political allies. Trump has approved disaster aid for red states and denied it to blue states. . . saying (falsely) that the lapse will hurt “largely Democrats.”
The longevity of the Mafia in Italy serves as a warning that, once this style of rule embeds itself in the state, it is “very difficult to extract,” @adamserwer.bsky.social argues.

There are no banks looking to make less money. This is a new scheme to make more and facilitate grifting the American working class. Now they ae grinding down on the 40 below workers. They will increase interest rates by manipulating credit scores btwn the CRAs and CC company policies. Stop this.
A 50 year mortgage would be just great for the banks. We'd all pay more for the same amount of house, and banks would reap the profits.

This is not the way to make buying a house affordable. Building more housing and paying a livable wage will benefit everyone except banks and their shareholders.

It is quite likely that Trump Administration has used the funds in the contingency fund and can't figure out how to restore the payments. Why else would they be taking the political hit on SNAP payment funding?
There is no doubt at all that the Trump Administration spent the emergency USDA SNAP fund and they may have even spent the regular SNAP funds.

In this article they claim USDA would have to dig in couches for something that isn’t there.
