Intentional underinvestment combined with growing pressure from the U.S. to separate from China will mean that inevitably the running of our power supply will eventually be in the hands of U.S. LNG exports. The same way they seperated Europe from nordstream access.

Please please understand that the LNG plant was not a foolish mistake by National. They have been correctly informed that they will not win the coming election so the LNG facilities are their paymasters back door into our democracy. It's a strategic calculation not a blunder.
