I'm writing a full blog post on that ("how to start drawing"), I don't know when I'll post it but it's one of the most important point so I'm sharing this part here because I'm tired and sad of seeing so many people giving up after they overwhelmed themself with tutorials and exercises and shit
But back then I was impressed by what I did, back then I loved that Sam I'm slandering now and that's the most important part of this post and the perfect way to conclude it. I improved not because I hated what I was doing, I improved because I loved it. Because every arts I did made me feel proud, because I saw how I was improving, as far as I was from what I do now which is probably far from what I'll do in a few years. But also because I love what and who I was drawing. Don't try to be a professional just yet, don't behave like one. Growing in art is like growing as a person, in order to be a functionable adult you need a decent childhood. If you have a bad childhood (or no childhood at all), then it will negatively impact the rest of your life forever. It's the same with Art, if you're trying to be "an adult" (a pro) too soon, it will negatively impact the way you draw forever (leading, in most case, to the total inability to draw at all and so to you giving up on it). So stop with all the professional exercises and shit for now, before you learn to "be a good adult" you need to enjoy your "childhood" first, to take the time to live it and to draw your fun little drawing like a kid drawing their little stickmen because it made them happy.

I don't know, man. I'm broadly out of touch with considering the "fanbase" of anything when evaluating a work anymore. I'm sure you can find a collective of fans for anything who are annoying or awful, but they're not in the room with me and I'm not going to go looking for them.

She is staring at the void while surrounded like ancient Egyptian mythological type figures with animal heads. The entire world is ancient structures carved with runes and organic shapes growing over them. Pen drawing that fills a page with large, unearthly looking shapes that intertwine with each other into a dense scene with shell like structures, large hollows almost with an insectoid eye cluster type appearance with the most prominent features being a mostly hidden skull on the left and right of center is a more prominent and visible humanoid skull. This skull is implied to be massive based on the figures standing in the eye sockets and the appearance that it is at the end of a trail while the skull and walkway is rising above out of twisted root like structures, fleshy sacks and other features. Standing out of these is an almost carved theatre style mask set in a frieze with an arch of skulls over it and seemingly supporting the trail. Full page pen drawing of a figure with a chain mail like hood draped over their head the flows into robes accented with tusks over the shoulder and holding an orb between their hands, one over, one under with a glowing white energy around a black, pupil like sphere. Flanking at a distance to either side are two others with the furthest back on the left having 3 horizontal, rectangular extensions off the headdress. Behind the one on the right is a large, ancient stone structure with black panels set into it where white, ghostly, humanoid and near-humanoid figures are visible, while branching like structures fill the upper part of the page where the sky would be, blotting out the starscape. On the left diamond shaped craft hang in the air while the top of structures emerge from a fog, including a large T shaped structure. Pen drawing of an alien covered in coral looking bio-mechanical growths and a fogged visor only showing eyes with tentacle like limbs 'crab-walking' towards the left. Its companion is folded up in a corner among the curved walls that are covered in alien machinery that has organic like textures that look carved or inscribed.
