The journalist explicitly identifies himself and attempts to stay on public land, but is threatened with arrest to prevent them from using their first amendment rights. They are breaking absolutely no law. This isn't even a close case.
We’re just not a free country.

Any American watching this play out between regime forces and journalists overseas would recognize it for what it is.

ICE kidnapped an entire family at gunpoint today. They yelled "bring your kids out!" to a mother.

Republicans are threatening judges for not rubberstamping this.

And most, if not all, are not “professional” agitators.
Protesting government overreach is not insurrection.

They are not preventing ICE from doing immigration enforcement.

They are objecting to an out-of-control agency that continually lies to the public and does harm.
