Finally watched the first episode of Stranger Things season 5. I happened to catch a lot of discourse online about how old the characters looked. Honestly none of the ages, etc bothered me at all. Maybe I'm just old now and everyone in their 20s looks young as hell to me.

We use sawdust and plaster in our baking process, but the bread itself isn't those things and the bakers we employ can choose to use flour if they want to even though we stress how we really don't mind if they use sawdust. I mean it all tastes the same what's the problem really

When young kids are creating it is pure imagination and play and exploration without rules or expectations.
To convert their artwork is robbing them of joy and discovery. It’s telling them that they aren’t good enough, that what they create is worthless.

if you know kids who want to make comics, show them The Cartoonists' Club by @scottmccloud.bsky.social and @goraina.bsky.social. instead of taking away their confidence, teach them to find it in themselves. instead of teaching them that they aren't inherently good enough, teach them that they ARE

Sleep, actually get 6+ hours of sleep. THEN! I'd have the energy and more time to devote to do something I enjoy that I don't get to do enough of, like drawing and writing. Gosh so many things if I didn't have to spend my life commuting and just making other people wealthier.
Honest question: If everyone got Universal Basic Income, no strings attached, what would YOU do with it?
