I like WHQuest games. But I do not like Nurgle, so this game is already fighting against it.

Not to mention the cover looks like it could be Old World Bretonia if the shield on the heavy guy was different. Why not just make it Old World if you are going to be this boring anyway?

Maybe it's just me, but when a fantasy universe with multiple non-human races makes 3 out of 4 characters on the cover humans, it's just boring af.

Water mage would have been enough, other two could be Seraphon, or Ogor, or tree elf, or deer elf, or snake elf. Anything is more fun than two knights😒

Being able to paint in places where you just cannot put even portable paint station adds so much painting time to the week!

For me it is worth some trade-off in quaity. Would not do it for HQs, but for troops/bulk units it is amazing

They I'll wash and drybrush bases(not ruining marker tips on texture paint!) and blast matte varnish over them all to knock off speed paint shine. But this will be done in bulk on 1st of November.

I think they look great for how little time they took, and I did them during the time conventional painting would be impossible for me. Basically I'm getting extra 40 to 50 minutes of painting each week!

I got 13 of them done in 8 working days. Which is a good dent in my backlog.

And then I stumbled upon gundam markers with a really good brush tip. So I decided to add some finishing touches. While still only painting at work during the break.

With Speed Paint markers and their no-setup convenience I decided to try painting at work during the lunch break. I usually have ten to fifteen minutes after I finish my food.

So I pre-shaded some orks, and went onto testing the theory. And it worked out great!

Get make-up brush cleaning mat, brush soap of choice(or even just a shampoo) and give them a spa treatment.

Regular brushes do not need the cleaning mat, but with drybrushing paint really builds up in bristles, so you want to do it in the end of each painting section.
