We are a country whose agenda is dictated by the hard right no matter who governs. The narrative flows from Fleet Street and Twitter to the broadcasters, the political class then responds. The damage this has done over the years is immense. And as Labour won't lead, it will only get worse.
Immigration into the UK is now far too low and still plunging. We'll all suffer for it because of the hatred and fear spread online. Seems that's how life works now.

Keir Starmer needs to stand up for the BBC against Trump's outrageous $5bn lawsuit and protect licence fee payers from being hit in the pocket.

Trump wants to interfere in our democracy and undermine our national broadcaster. We cannot let him.

If he gets it, he will demand more.

We know this from history and we should learn from history.

The populace is pig ignorant of infection and transmission.

It is the duty of media to educate.

Well done, James for trying to educate.

You are still an idiot, though.

Masks need to be mandated.

Every hospital ward should have masks at the entrance and you should be FORCED to wear them.

Farage's anti-Semitism is a non-story; who hasn't wished death on their Jewish classmates? No, the real scandal is Rachel Reeves' claim to have been UK under-14 girls chess champion when she was actually UK girls under-14 chess champion. That stinks.

Chris Mason on why it is his duty to explain that Rachel Reeves was lying when she said she was the UK under-14 chess champion when the records show she was the UK under-14 chess champion is going to be spectacular.

Watched BBC 6 o clock news. Just a completely unserious broadcast. Chris Mason, acting like a children's entertainer, giving a prolonged impenetrable editorial. Not a whiff of informative content about the Budget or what it means for the country. Just playschool blah blah bollocks.

The only way you can explain Chris Mason's failure to do his job when the Tories were in power and with regards to Nigel Farage and Reform now is that he sees his job very specifically to have opinions about the actions of Labour governments and no-one else.

The absolute state of the BBC news just now - which seems determined to drag the government down over the budget.

Where was all this attention to minute detail and concern for absolute accuracy when the Tories were lying their way through their chaotic reign for 14 years? It's frankly absurd.

Counterfeit football kits: What's the real cost?
Fake football kits can be as much as £70 cheaper than the real deal, but experts have raised concerns they could be harmful.

I get that individual people are moving from Labour to Green. But I don’t get a Green strategy that says beating Labour in 2029 is more important than beating Reform. It places extraordinary faith in Farage not dismantling the UK’s democracy. I just do not have that faith.
