Why does what Badenoch say get so much attention. Why does everyone respond? It’s just fiction. LibDems are currently level-pegging with the Tories in the polls and everyone is beating the Tories in council by-elections. Their own members didn’t even attend their conference.

Why is Kemi Badenoch repeating the lie that people with ADHD qualify for a Motability car? I have moderate cerebral palsy. I haven’t qualified for a Motability car since 2018. I also have ADHD. Only those on the higher rate of the Mobility Component of PIP qualify for a Motability car. #CPC25

The issue for the Tories is that while Jenrick’s antics play well for Tory members, a big chunk of Tory voters (namely One Nation types) will find them beyond the pale and will look more to the Lib Dems

Every dogwhistle is another chunk of Tory votes lost, surely CCHQ must know this
