At first, the Trump administration cut USAID and military aid to Ukraine, reducing existing programs to a minimum. Then it imposed tariffs on the EU. Now it acts surprised that it has little leverage in negotiations, as all sides ignore Trump’s sporadic demands and tantrums

Let's see how much Turkey whines now.
One more step towards unrestricted naval warfare.
Russia attacked a Turkish ship in Odesa.
Türkiye is a member of NATO.
The Russian attack on the Turkish ship is an attack on NATO.
Will we see more NATO "strength" by inaction in response as promoted by Secretary General Mark Rutte?

Have you noticed how “corruption” is a constant media buzzword in articles about Ukraine, yet rarely comes up when discussing the current administration? Many things the Trump administration did would be considered exorbitant even by today’s Ukrainian “corruption standards”.

America is currently far more corrupt than Ukraine, and our democratic institutions are far more frail than in Ukraine.

Ukraine is now the Bright City on the Hill that Reagan talked about.

The jailing of a Sudanese militia leader is an anomaly in a world where Putin, Netanyahu and yes, Hegseth, act without fear of international law, says Guardian foreign affairs commentator Simon Tisdall

I am doubtful about European security guarantees for Ukraine, can one trust them? With regards to American security guarantees I consider them totally worthless. Who knows what the American regime comes up with next? Who knows what lunatic the Americans will put in the White House next?

Trump's DOJ basically allowed a notorious fugitive Ukrainian oligarch Dmytro Firtash to dodge his US extradition after a yearslong legal battle in Austria.

His US case in a nutshell: he was caught trying to bribe and spy his way out of another US case.

D'you think he maybe tried that AGAIN?😉

⚡️ Zelenskyy says the world loves calling Ukrainians “titans,” but even steel can break.

He warns that after nearly four years of holding back one of the world’s biggest armies under constant missile and drone attacks, the world must remember Ukrainians are human and still need support.

What’s next? You’re going to tell me that RUSSIA actually started the war?

Russia rejected the ceasefire? No this can’t be. I was assured that Zelensky was the one who caused all of this and was the aggressor getting in the way of peace.

Cutting off military aid and screaming at him in the White House was all pointless? No. I can’t believe it.

Saying it again, Putin doesn’t want peace and Trump’s approach damages prospects for a ceasefire.

Trump is pressuring Ukraine and Europe, cutting military aid and winding-down cooperation. And there are deep fissures forming in our alliance with NATO.

Trump is the wrecking ball the Russians needed to finally destroy the US, it's trade and defense alliances, giving the enemies of democracy free rein to make territorial gains globally.

No US President has ever destroyed so much US equity value so quickly.
