“Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.”

Marc: Jesus, why are you weighing in on arms control policy? Now let’s get you up on that cross where you belong.

Here’s the author’s PhD dissertation.

Honestly Kansas State should feel bad for allowing this.

And the Army allowed this guy to make retirement.

How many people failed to tell this guy he was an idiot that led us here?

The World Anti-Doping Agency has vowed to investigate allegations that ski jumpers are injecting their penises with hyaluronic acid to fly farther.

And here I was doing it just for kicks.
The Winter Olympics has long been a battleground for marginal gains.

Thursday, however, took things to a new level in Milan Cortina.

This man baby decided to destroy the sculpture.

So lacking in impulse control, so thin-skinned and juveline, he has to kick (poorly, like a stumbling idiot) anything that offends his delicate sensibilities.

How can we have robust debate with such as these? Can democracy survive these children?

A prosecute ice ice sculpture.

A mind blowing vortex of art and material that dares the viewers to recall Marcel Duchamp. The father of Dadaism. The dada of dada.

so if they are still poor and out of a job, it's on them, and i don't have to feel bad for them. it's their own fault"

And so I wake in the morning and I step outside
And I take a deep breath and I get real high
And I scream from the top of my lungs
"Want fajitas?"

And I say, hey-ey-ey
Hey-ey-ey
I said "Hey, want fajitas?"
And I say, hey-ey-ey
Hey-ey-ey
I said "Hey, want fajitas?"
I'm in the corner
Eating fajitas
Woah-ohhh
I'm right over here
You want some fajitas?

Compare to what Bezos is doing to the Washington Post. Stark contrast in stewardship of a company that is also a public good.

The Greens are the closest thing we have to a present day Mr. Rogers.

I’m grateful for their example of goodness, and the courage it takes to stand for goodness in public
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

As of January 1st 2026, John and I are **no longer** the owners of Complexly (the educational media company we started 15 years ago that makes Crash Course, Eons, SciShow, Study Hall, and a bunch of other shows.)

We have been the sole owners for all that time...

Context is critical. Here's some: The Incarnation, Eucharist, and Resurrection

In taking on flesh, he erased the distinction between heaven and earth, between God and man

In the Eucharist, he unites himself to us and us to each other

And in resurrection he erased the border between life and death
Speaking on behalf of a religion that actively sought to spread itself to every country in the world whether invited or not, Speaker Johnson would like to share with you the Biblical case for strong borders.

This is unreal. An AUSA talking like that in open court is about as close as you can come to a total breakdown. Never heard of anything like it.

There's a guy on my screen everyday, who says he's Speaker of the House, but says the dumbest shit I've ever heard.

Every time he opens his mouth, he sounds like a very dumb alien who hasn't quite figured out humanity yet, and is trying his best. His face looks fraudulent. Can I prove it? No.
Mike Johnson on Trump calling for Rs to "nationalize" elections: "We had 3 Republicans who were ahead on election day in last cycle & every time a new tranche of ballots came in they just magically whittled away until their leads were lost. It looks on its face to be fraudulent. Can I prove it? No"

Well this is a crazy fucked up thing to say outloud.

Also this is at a hearing about modernizing the National Institute of Health, if you are wondering about the august chambers ability to stay on topic and maintain professional decorum.

Scouting should cut ties with Hegseth if doesn’t implement some personal core value reform

Scouting is a huge value add to DoD. It’s a messaging aligned partner that is a free contact point to hundreds of thousands of young people inclined to service.
Breaking news: The Pentagon issued a warning to Scouting America, formerly known as the Boy Scouts, saying the organization risks losing its long-standing partnership with the U.S. military unless it rapidly implements “core value reforms.”
Pentagon warns Scouts to restore ‘core values’ or lose military support
The relationship dates back decades, but Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has criticized the organization for allowing girls to join and changing its name from Boy Scouts.

For him—USMC combat vet of Vietnam, author of unforgettable novel about combat—to write this, for NR, about Noem/Bovino/ICE/CBP cosplaying, is significant. Pls read
