..... so why are chiptunes sounds from the 80's still used to represent 'the future' on the soundtrack of shows about cutting edge technology?
It seems that theres nothing that represents the modern age like the blips and warbles of a home computer from 1982.
There is hope!

41 years ago today, the Ghostbusters fictitiously took the front page of the October 8, 1984 edition of USA Today with the headline “Ghost Fever Grips New York,” as seen in the classic comedy. 👻

Um… is this for real
This is one of my favorite takes. I’m sure people would love a 30-day delay on having their images posted so they can be reviewed by hand and also it’s Good Actually to make humans look at some of the most heinous images in existence all day

Trivia on 'trivia'

In ancient Rome, a trivium was an intersection of three roads (tri, "three" + vium, road).

According to the Romans, when people met at a trivium, they would discuss trivialis ("inconsequential things") - which eventually helped give trivia its modern meaning.

Bruce Taylor, the "CEO of Adult Swim" (as seen in dozens of bumpers over the years), died on September 9, just a few weeks shy of his 89th birthday.

Adult Swim paid tribute with an in memoriam bump last night.
This is great to hear!

The Fab Four’s Saturday morning cartoon, titled (as one would expect) “The Beatles,” premiered 60 years ago, on September 25, 1965. (Paul Frees and Lance Percival provided all four Beatles’ voices.) The program was the first weekly series to use animated versions of actual people.
