The new NSFW button is called LABELS. It shows up when you put an image in a post.
Labeling your NSFW images makes them work with Bsky's built-in moderation system. You won't lose visibility because people who want to see NSFW have it turned on.
It's just considerate, that's all.

people getting pissy about this need to understand two things:
1: there is no algorithm here that’s gonna hide your content even from your followers
2: allowing individuals to independently choose to avoid nsfw content on their own terms is not some anti kink conspiracy. it’s decency

Lil PSA, because for some reason the Content Filters separates this out specifically:
Even if you have all Adult and Suggestive content enabled, you still need to go down to the Bluesky Moderation Service and enable "Sexually Suggestive (Cartoon)" material manually, if you want to see that.
