But very few people even know PBMs exist, and they like to keep it that way.

It is funny that we have so decoupled the word "straw" from its original meaning that even though we grow millions of tons of biodegradable cellulose straws every year, no one thought to use them as a plastic replacement, and opted for soggy paper instead.
