Next time, let's vote for someone who has shared the same ups/downs in life as 99% of us and is not a lawbreaker, cheater, thief, fraud, con artist, woman hater or convicted sex assaulter who has never shopped, spent his own money, played w/kids, raised a dog or read a book.

This is what real Congressmen do when they have some spare time. Jim McGovern (MA-02) is at the annual Worcester Festival of Lights on the Worcester Common. It's about 20 degrees outside tonight.

There’s something doubly grating about the pious invocation of “Western civilization” by the sort of incurious dolt who wouldn’t know a Titian canvas, a Beethoven quartet, or a Socratic dialogue if whapped them upside the head.
It has long been clear that unalloyed racism lies at the core of Trumpism, and he is becoming increasingly explicit about this.

Before the first dose of Hep B vax was given at birth, around 22,000 infants were infected every year.

After the policy changed, around 20 infants were infected every year.

22,000 needless Hep B infections every year down to 20!!!

The 19 richest U.S. households saw a $1 trillion wealth increase in 2024, a rise that exceeds the size of Switzerland’s economy.

These 19 households now control $2.6 trillion in wealth — almost as much wealth as the bottom 50% of American households.

If this isn't an oligarchy, what is?

This is the story tonight. Every Dem who was in that room should be telling us what they saw.
Himes: "What I saw in that room was one of the most troubling things I've seen in my time in public service ... any American who sees the video that I saw will see the US military attacking shipwrecked sailors."

I’m fascinated by how many of these schmucks seem determined to return not just to the 50s, but to an imaginary form of the 50s derived from sitcoms. I demand a national screening of the movie Pleasantville!

My stepkids took over my demented (but nice) husband's care once a year so I could get time off. I think they expected me spend it lunching w/gal pals and shopping. No. I went to France and NL for a few weeks to get as far away from brain damage as possible. They didn't get it. Maybe they do, now.
