Hello New Followers! I guess I should do an intro thread!
We are Pirate Artisans, a married couple of landlocked pirates sailing out of the Midwest to bring our fine handmade treasures to any manner of convention and festival that will have us! Our favorite materials are bronze, glass, and silver!

First weekend of yuletide today! The secret to outdoor shows in the winter is layers. You can't tell, but I'm wearing 5 layers up top and 4 below, plus I have toe warmers tucked in between my fleece lined tights and my wool socks ;)

New silver pendants! I'm over the moon with how the enamel pieces turned out this time, and I can't wait to do more! I really want to try mastering opaque evaluations enamel on bronze to be able to provide more colorful pieces at a more approachable price point next year

Very *very* small amount of silver going in before yuletide! Left will be sterling, right will be fine, to be enameled tomorrow :)

Spooling up the kiln for a glass run. I am... very burnt out from Ren Fest and, y'know -gestures at the state of things- but I'm doing my best!
Doesn't help that my new kiln is out of commission until I replace a corroded coupling. Can things stop happening please T_T

this is true enlightenment. Once you prioritize your peace over the comfort of people who are always negative, you find yourself with more joy and energy and you don't think about those people at all.
Man my life got a lot happier when i removed myself from interacting with people who are jealous, envious and negative all the time 🫠

Getting back to the bench after some much-needed rest. After I work on some projects I'm going to spend some time tonight & tomorrow tidying and testing the streaming stuff for kinks so I can resume streaming, maybe on Monday! I really miss having a semi-regular schedule for working on stuff.
