You don't need to tend to a farm, run a cafe, or lounge on an island for a game to be cosy. Riding on a speeder, searching for treasure, and eating at street stalls is cosy too, which is why Star Wars Outlaws is a cosy game.

Facebook messenger is a bad program I should stop using but I've got so much buy-in it's hard to find the will for it. It's worst feature, among many, is that when I want to open a chat or forward a link, the accounts it will show me are all people I've not spoken to in /decades/. Presumptuous.

Ok so I have no idea how they confirmed that mavalny was poisoned with frog toxins, but assuming it's accurate it does track with the Russians being obsessed with rare poisons. They had the guy under their total control, they could have used drano. Psycho shit, which I guess is the point

I have been cursed by a witch

Here’s what happened: I ignored an old beggar woman and she turned out to be a mighty enchantress

Her spell forces me to always talk like I’m on LinkedIn

Here are my main takeaways about being hexed:

Good stuff, and it's correct, the best kind of good stuff.
Today's Load-bearing Tomato addresses the age old question:

"why don't the devs just [SOCIAL MEDIA OPINION]"

It turns out, "a lot of reasons", but if you never have to test your ideas, you never have to discover why they're not any good.

The opinions you believe are universal are being fed to you by an algorithm designed to show you what you want.

I saw phantom menace, first showing, at the Chinese theatre. People had been waiting in line for over a month, a friend had extra tickets.

Shame about the movie, but still a cool experience
Have asked this before and always like the responses. What are your biggest “I saw that in the first run cinema” flexes? Couple of mine:

Transformers: The Movie (1986)
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993)
Office Space (1999)

This is a big part of what a loremaster does. It's not about finding problems it's about finding solutions that get you the story/image/character you want within the confines of the setting. I sometimes call my team the "make it work" team. Sadly no one in Poland knows who Tim Gunn is
I have a friend who said, of Starfleet Academy, that this took them out of it - that seeing a person in a wheelchair in the 32nd century seemed unrealistic, since medicine in Star Trek "should be able to cure whatever was wrong with them."

That's not the case, for any number of possible reasons.

Maybe it's just my specific branch of academia, but paleoartists have it so good, man. Scholars are directly linked with and support artists, even if only through dissemination.

Archaeologists within academia here couldn't care less, it's no wonder mesoamerican representation is stuck in the 50's
