for latam politics and cultures please allow latinos to lead the conversation and learn to listen because a lot of our problems come from usa being paternalistic towards us as if we were part of their territory and it's so deep ingrained in your culture that you have to actively fight against it

I'm sorry, but I just think it's very telling when we differentiate between ICE's killing of American citizens versus undocumented immigrants. And I'm seeing that a lot right now.

Allowing violence upon the most vulnerable of us (bipoc folks, trans folks, disabled folks, etc) means that EVERYONE will be subject to violence eventually. If you do not stop it toward them, it will not stop toward you. It will just keep happening.

i think it is ok to reiterate that the victim as a us citizen. yes, noncitizens are equally entitled to human rights. but also, it's important to illustrate how ice isn't about immigration at all
