But then, the ancient Jedi texts offer a glimmer of hope: a long-forgotten Jedi temple on Tython that might hold the key to repairing Rey's saber. Rey leaps at the chance to journey there - and to her surprise, so does Leia.
Rey and Leia's nascent mentorship is put to the test when they discover the temple on Tython is filled with obscure clues to decipher and arcane trials to complete.As they work to unravel the temple's mysteries, they encounter a group of refugees living in its shadow, hiding from a First Order officer hot on the trail of two freedom fighters in their midst: With the threat of the First Order looming and the secrets of the temple yet to be unlocked, the newly forged master and apprentice must confront their pasts, reach each other in the present, and decide what it means to carry the legacy of the Jedi into the future.

This is a win that Ahmed Best more than deserves. I don’t mean to be a downer, but it cannot be overstated how horribly people treated this man when the prequels were still new. I’m delighted that he (and Hayden Christensen who also did not deserve that hate) are being given this love today.

I doubt any of them even know who that is. And if you were to try to tell them or attempt to bring up the holocaust and in any capacity, they’d laugh in your face before shooting you. Nazis are not concerned with the atrocities of other Nazis.

What’s really sad is that they’re not entirely wrong. Trump is a daughter raping Nazi who tried to overthrow the country on live TV and 77 million people still voted for him and are all hoping to do so a third time. “America is full of white supremacists” is objectively true.

Still, fuck Ubisoft.

I’m sure many people have answered with Cowboy Bebop. And I totally get it. But personally, I have to give it to another Shinichiro Watanabe gem. Carole & Tuesday is one of my absolute favorite shows ever. It’s heartfelt, at times gut wrenching, a little relevant, and the music is sensational.

I know I already answered, but I also wanna give a shout out to my other favorite film trilogy. Infernal Affairs (Hong Kong) is arguably the greatest crime saga ever put a film.

The Departed is a remake of the first IA with elements of the next to woven in. It’s good, but these are where it’s at!
