I normally don’t like historical revisionism like this, but these last 46 hours have me convinced Dixie Kong should have been in Donkey Kong Country Returns from the start.

Nice to see some Prime 4 reviews that are fair with aspects of the game that were kind of rough but overall enthusiastic because the game absolutely sticks the landing at the end of the day.

I’m sorry, but I can’t take seriously anyone who says Metroid Prime 4 ruined Metroid Prime. It was at the absolute worst not as good as the other ones, and frankly I still liked it more than Prime 3. I honestly can’t remember the last time I saw backlash this intense to something so harmless.

I’d considered buying the game solely for LGBT relationships. I got a lot of mileage out of Fire Emblem and Mass Effect because of that alone. Guess these guys would rather have their money come from right wing scum instead.
If you’re thinking of supporting this game or the devs in particular, maybe rethink it.
They’re publicly either rejecting or refusing to acknowledge homosexuality, same-sex acts & intimacy and the existence of queer people in medieval history.
