I just had a first year film school epiphany about Shawshank Redemption. Andy crawls through a metaphorical birth canal, behind the poster of a woman, and is reborn on the other side as a new person. His clothes are attached to his waste with a rope, which he cuts loose upon being birthed. Aaahhhhgg

I’ve always wanted to be in a little punk cover band that only played songs from TV and movies. Like themes and whatnot. And sometimes original songs from movies.
A punk version of Blue Shadows from Three Amigos would be pretty fun. IMO.
