Reports from Whipple Detention Center in MN are alarming: overcrowding, people shackled, denied medical care, and limited access to food.

And now, they are blocking members of Congress from visiting ICE facilities to hide these inhumane conditions.

So we're back in court.

Centrists are going to kill us all. They stand for nothing.
I will give Suozzi more credit than he gives himself. He knew what the vote was. He just figured the way to "win" was to support the funding because that's more "centrist" and buck the Democratic majority. But morally, he knew what this was about. He ended up wrong morally AND politically.

I actually think abolishing ICE *is* worth shutting down the government over.

Grind all business to a halt in Congress. Nothing should get done so long as ICE is part of any funding bill.

THAT'S what you can do now, @democrats.org.

The ICE agent who murdered Renee Nicole Good and fled the scene has deleted all of his social media accounts. The Trump administration says he is currently at home on paid leave, enjoying time with his family. After this administration, we are going to need a Nuremberg Trials 2.0.

Laws dont matter to the lawless.

This is all in his National Security Strategy document released in 2025.

I know ppl didnt want to read Project 2025 but you need to read this one.

The weirdest thing about Americans is how many of them think their laws apply to every person in the world.
But they're certain other countries' laws don't apply to them.

Whenever I correctly point out that there is no opposition party in US politics, the usual suspects swarm to screech about Dems having no power. If these folks are correct (they are not), then they should BUILD POWER. They aren't doing that.

Maduro is a brutal and oppressive dictator of Venezuela.

Trump has no legitimate legal basis for military action against Venezuela under United States or international law.

Both of those facts are simultaneously true.

I remember the lead up to the Iraq war and being frustrated with people conflating Saddam and 9/11. But at least thought that after 20 years of that we’d at least not do it again.

And yet here we are with again with Fentanyl deaths used to justify a war with Venezuela which doesn’t make fentanyl.

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

The United States needs you to believe we're not an imperial power. Even the imperialists want you to believe our imperialism is the result of outside influences.

Because if you believe that, you won't recognize that having the world's largest carceral state is meant to suppress your dissent.

The only reason you give multiple cognitive screening tests is if you’re tracking cognitive decline. Once a year is a normal screening for people on Medicare(and older adults) as part of the annual wellness visit, 3x means they’re concerned and monitoring his mental capacity.
Given how often he posts about this, it seems less like reassurance for others and more like he’s trying to convince himself that he passed the cognitive exam.

He was evil in life and died evil in life. He’s evil in death. His death doesn’t absolve him of the bullshit and real harm he inflicted. Nothing’s gonna change that fact. He died how he lived, full of bigotry. He can rest in piss
I cited actual Kirk quotes where he calls Black women less intelligent, demonizes me for being Muslim, & dehumanizes LGBTQ people—& his supporters are upset at me for “speaking evil of the dead.”

If quoting him is “speaking evil” maybe ask yourself why you followed someone who believed evil things.

White people really love “civility” even when people are actively calling for harm of marginalized communities
This right here is why so many black folks don't trust white leftists. He spent his short life dehumanizing black folks and helping install the most racist, degenerate POTUS of my lifetime and yet there are so many white leftist/ liberal tears being shed and PoC are chastised for a "lack of empathy"
I'm sorry @jacobinmag.bsky.social but this take, accusing fellow leftists of a "competitive lack of empathy" and "antimoral posturing" whilst saying Kirk "never laid a finger on anyone" is frankly afactual to the point of gaslighting.

I understand folks who don’t celebrate his death, but his death shouldn’t be mourned either. He was garbage.
I find a lot of white people will try and “both sides” his shit. He did not ever engage in good faith discussion. He’s garbage and died as garbage. The world is better without him in it.
It has been…illuminating to see who really did see Charlie Kirk as the enemy vs who actually regarded him as a friend and a peer.
