I saw more Palestinian flags in Barcelona than Catalan flags. Not to mention the incredible amount of pro Palestinian graffiti. Israel is rightly viewed as a genocidal apartheid state here.

Call me a pessimist but I don’t think that the ceasefire with Israel will hold. Rewarding Trump’s attempt at a Gaza real estate initiative also seems ludicrous but anything is possible.

It really can't be said enough: the goal of the "anti-woke" movement was always to destroy social norms against bigotry. And it worked. And there's a whole lot of purportedly "left" thinkers & commentators who helped it -- indeed, it couldn't have been done without them.

Netanyahu's mouthpiece, Amit Segal, casually admits on Twitter that his country has been holding 1,700 people from Gaza hostage, including children.

Among other things, according to the decision:

- 250 security prisoners will be released.
- 1,700 residents of the Gaza Strip who were not involved in the events of October 7 and were arrested after the massacre will be released.
- 22 minors under the age of 18, residents of the Gaza Strip who were not involved in the events of October 7 and were arrested after the massacre, will be released.
