it is possible to make poison pill datasets that corrupt training data if ingested. this is the first step towards tools that artists and writers could use to make their works indigestible to ai. pretty neat imo

Like, there are power users here who don't believe sincere moral convictions exist, because they need to hate everyone who was right about The Horrors before they were. There are people here who are so overloaded with negativity that they turn it into a group sport, and lash out when someone notices

Absolutely nothing about this site’s architecture stops AI companies from scraping and training on it right now. The company everyone is freaking out about has clear license terms that say they aren’t doing that, but anything you post here is absolutely being used by someone for training
