The Red Wings won again this afternoon. They may be a team that wasn’t on the #Habs radar to beat in order to make the playoffs. They haven’t been in the playoffs in 10 years but it certainly looks like it could happen this season.

Great column as usual Brian. "Defensively, the Canadiens did an excellent job, finally, of keeping the game calm when they had a good lead. " That’s what makes me think the #Habs players are starting to see the light when it comes to closing out games.

Great to read your comments on the #Habs Lori. I agree that the forwards are starting to feel the heat. There’s going to be some extra bodies when everyone gets back from injuries for sure. And they are not all waiver exempt so something got to give.

Looking at today’s afternoon games and it looks like the Red Wings are on their way to another win against the Capitals. Certainly seems like they aren’t going awaysoon and will be a problem for the #Habs in their division.

They just brought in one of the best defensive centres in the league. The top lines have positive metrics and the back lines have horrific metrics.
