If you’re someone who loves one or a series of toy commercial series and believes they deserve more attention and/or analysis, I feel you should be able to extend that same grace on the other aisle, cartoons.

NOW PLAYING, for the next 90 minutes or so: It's 1974's "Jack and the Beanstalk"! Made in Japan for an American market, it's an incredibly weird blending of the two animation cultures, as well as blending traditional Euro fairy tales with some incomprehensible story elements. Don't miss it!!
