my minor pet peeve is when people saying URLs verbally and say โ€œbackslashโ€

1) itโ€™s a forward slash
2) you can just say slash, forward is the default

โ€ผ๏ธ A Tennessee library board which now has ๐Ÿคฎ Riley Gaines๐Ÿคฎ as a member is still trying to approve a policy that would remove all books about transgender people from all their libraries. Please email them and tell them what you think about this policy โ€ผ๏ธ [email protected]

also i love how i updated this thread with 4 books and i ended up getting two replies on the last of the old posts lmao
Book #60 is a reread of Anita Kelly's Love and Other Disasters! This is my first book of theirs I had read back in 2022, and one of my queer silent book club friends just started reading this after loving some of Anita's other books!
They're so great! I've read all 3 of the bright falls books and Dream On, Ramona Riley! I have the others that I haven't read yet on my tbr!
Book #59 was Slow AF Run Club by Martinus Evans. I'm in the middle of training for my first half marathon so I figured I could fit in a book about running. This was part personal story, part how-to, and while I already knew most of this (it's more for someone just starting), I learned a few things.
Book #58 was Isn't It Obvious? by Rachel Runya Katz (just released, and I went to her author event this past week!) I was looking forward to this all month and it was SO worth the wait, this book is a delight. Queer librarians, podcasts, hidden identities, oh my! I loved this so much!! 5โญ
Book #57 was Leaving the Station by Jake Maia Arow! Yes, two sapphic books involving trains in a row, hahaha. I quite enjoyed this one! 4.25โญ
Oops, I'm several books behind on this thread, so a quick-catch up is in order!

Book #56 was a reread of One Last Stop, my favorite romance book of all time! It's my third time reading it, but this is the first time since I got the collectors edition so I hadn't read the bonus chapter before!
i'm glad i'm finally getting some tag representation in speak now posts
