So many of these Democratic invertebrates are thinking, "Oh, no, we got out over our skis on 'defund the police' post-George Floyd... if we go all 'abolish ICE,' come 2028 we'll get slammed by some terror attack and get blown out in the election. What can we say that Republicans might like? Reform?"
Any Democratic votes to fund DHS later this month as Minneapolis is being terrorized by DHS is going to be a major slap in the face to Americans living here. Demand major reforms or shut the government down.

I fear they don't call out their cops and Guard for fear that the embedded white Christian nationalists in those ranks then sack any leadership loyal to the elected and go full fascist for Trump.

Good to know, and add "Do you have a judicial court warrant signed by a judge?" to my previous advice on never opening the door and just yelling at cops through the door.
PSA: Examples of a judicial warrant and an administrative warrant. ICE cannot enter your home with only an administrative warrant.

The mayors and governors aren't ordering the police and Guard to protect us from ICE because they know a significant number of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses, and the resulting disobedience would finally break any illusion of local control over this Confederate occupation.

Yes, if only the drop-out incel roid-raged homophobic racists with guns and immunity just had a few more weeks of training to be taught things like "shooting unarmed moms in the face is bad" and "breaking down doors without a warrant and pointing guns at kids is wrong."

I treasure that my first viewing of The Terminator was in its initial release as a teenager at the midnight movies. We were literally asses out of the seats heading for Perkins and all-night coffee and fries — wait, the fucker's still alive? Okay. Okay. Okay. Now he's dead, let's go — what?
As a kid I watched Terminator 1 after 2 and 3 and I thought it was the weakest of the trilogy.
I also watched Alien after seeing Alien Resurrection and I thought Resurrection was better.
I still haven't forgiven kid me.

Beneath all the layers of cruelty and racism and fascism, I can't help but note the sheer sloppy unprofessionalism. Having covered the War on (Some Americans With Some) Drugs for a couple decades, I know what a no-knock raid properly executed looks like and folks… that ain't it. 👇🏻

Whether that justification (evidence of illegal activity, sense imminent danger to others, believe crime in progress) is true is irrelevant. They will say so, knowing you likely don't have evidence they're lying. Meanwhile, they can search for or plant evidence that makes their justification true.
