Not to say that you don't need activists at all but I do feel their impact is wildly overestimated. You can have the best activists in the world but at a GE, if you're national messaging is dogshit, your activists are still trying to sell dogshit.

Yeah, often paracetamol OD isn't planned, it's impulsive. If you have to go to multiple shops, even if you overdose, the dose is reduced so your prospect of survival is increased.

There was a proposal to drop tablet strength to 750mg for that reason (though it never went through).
