I tried Mastadon before Bluesky. It was too fiddly. I couldn't even create an account. So I came here instead.

Bluesky mods have recently banned folks who built the culture here on bogus violations. This, in light of consistently allowing attacks on LGBTQ+ folks, was a hypocrisy too far for many people.

I'm pulling back. Might quit. I'm interested in alternatives, though I might just quit social media.
