Look, I don't necessarily expect people writing historical fiction to rigorously research the language of the period, but I recently bumped into a story where a guy who was ostensibly born in the year 1805 uses the word "parkour" in his internal monologue, and there ARE limits.

A beautiful male Satyr with red and white hair and wavy horns that sprout from the top of his head. He has bright blue eyes and green berries in his hair, which is wild and floats in the wind. A 6-legged robot, 4 legs like a dog, and an extra two limbs like hands, stands in an overgrown junkyard. It's head is similar to a security camera, with expressive antennae (like ears), it looks quizzically into the sun. Its body glows bright blue with cybernetics. Behind it are two broken-down cars, stacked on top of one another, sitting underneath a large tree.

Mydei and Phainon from Honkai Star Rail are "sparring" with each other in the steamy sauna baths of the main hub city of Amphoreus. Mydei is kneeling on top of Phainon, grabbing his chestpiece with one fist and the other hand pinned next to Phainon's head. Mydei's hips are on top of Phainon's, and he looks down at him with a frustrated face. Phainon is underneath Mydei, he looks up at Mydei lovingly, one hand caressing Mydei's lower jaw, and the other hand grips Mydei's shirt. Both of them are covered in sweat, not only from the hot room, but sweating from the tension between them.
