We finally have an answer with what's going on. And it is rather banal. But also weird. It's carpal tunnel. Severe carpal tunnel. The kind that needs surgery. But entirely fixable and the surgeries very safe. I somehow manage to wear out both hands almost perfectly evenly.

I don't know how, but I seem to have lucked out yet again. I have a slight meniscus tear in my left knee. But it's very slight. And both my knees are actually in very good order with next to no damage anywhere. That's insane.

Heard from Pop. Mama J's surgery yesterday went really well and it looks like it went so well they want to turn her over to a long-term rehab now. When I went out the door today a dove landed on the fence. And it looked at me and I looked at it and then it flew away. I'll take that as a good sign.
