Interviewing @tompalmerauthor.bsky.social for @htenuk.bsky.social was a privilege. Tom's honesty about his personal journey from reluctant reader to author, his research & writing process, & opportunities & limitations inherent in the writing of historical fiction were so refreshing! #HTENConf
@tompalmerauthor.bsky.social and @victoriacrooks.bsky.social the interview format was so engaging More please @htenuk.bsky.social #HistoryEducation 🔥🔥🔥

It was a true pleasure to lead this talk on metacognition and modelling to well over 150 attendees.

The feedback has been wonderful too - incredibly chuffed to receive such glowing reviews from so many people!

Already looking forward to next year!
Our conference on metacognition is underway @mrmetacognition.bsky.social talking to 170+ trainee teachers from Marjon University 🤩

Quite right of course. But also - call me simple-minded - if my partner started getting more money, I’d be happy, not sad, because then WE collectively would have more money, and money famously can be exchanged for goods and services.
Pretty sure it's not up to women to "think carefully" about taking a higher-paid job than their partner. It's up to their partner to get the fuck over himself and be pleased for her.

What we teach may go into our students’ memory but it isn’t learning if nothing is retained and it can’t be recalled and used next week, month, or year. What it is, is performance: The student performed!

Never become a leader to lead - do it to make a difference.
