That‘s where the fun is. There are some who‘d started using "AI“ after years of success as creatives, but I can’t help thinking that what got them into it in the first place is replaced by dopamine hits now. There are ways to use this 'creatively‘ but you have to give up agency and ethics. Pass.

These people have never created anything so they think the creative process is just

1. Have Idea
2. Grind out menial labor until idea is finished.

In reality you start with a concept and it comes to life during "the grind". You can't remove that part because it's the whole thing.

"please tell me what to prompt because my head is empty" is a hell of a plea for people who claim to be more creative than actual filmmakers and screenwriters.

AI filmmaking is completely unserious.

You've got people with $30k begging the internet for ideas by next week because they have nothing of their own to say, it's just slop for the sake of slop. Embarrassing state of affairs.

For my money, the way thousands of regular people are self-organizing to resist data centers is one of the most cautiously hopeful stories going right now.

"I don't make money off of this" shouldn't be an excuse to keep using genAI. You're still licking the boot of the fascism theft machine.

"Ethical AI" does not exist. There is no reality where you can have generative AI that's "ethically trained". There are ZERO AI models trained ethically, and there will never be any.

The term has been made up by people who want a pass on using AI. You don't get that pass, slop peddlers.

Never trusted TikTok. China has long been authoritarian. US is increasingly authoritarian. Of course you can’t trust their surveillance/propaganda tools.
TikTok is already being turned into a propaganda machine.

A lack of ability to see criticism can persuade users to think that means there’s (unanimous) support.

That, AND it’s collecting your data for whatever purpose it wants, & I bet at least a few of them you’d be horrified by.

Just delete it.
