She/Her. Cradle to Grave Atheist.

When I was 5 years old I wanted to live at the library. Nothing has changed.

Cats are magic. Books are life.

“Mordrugh, this tribunal is not here to listen to your views on the benefits of necromancy -“

“Living beings require too much land and effort directed to their existence! My laboring dead are so much more productive. Can’t you see?”

I'll never get over this book.

“I’m all right,” I told her. This is the lie, when you’re twelve. And all the other years, too. You never tell your mom anything that might worry her. Moms have enough to worry about already.”

Greg went to the nonfiction section, placing books about aliens and wizards next to biographies and tourist guides.

Vicki rushed over, scowling, and took out her magic wand. "You're the worst employee I've ever had! I'm demoting you to bookshop cat."

He fought back a smile. "Oh dear."

I like the cover art for An Introvert's Guide to Life and Love, created by Elizabeth M. Oliver. It seems counterintuitive, but I like cartoon characters on romance covers. It isn't going to tell me how spicy the book is, but it does add a bit of whimsy. It assures me that it should have an HEA. 💙📚

Today's tea is Pu-erh. Its so good, smooth and perfect. I save it for when I can savor it. I'm finishing A Duke Never Tells and listening to the rain. I am getting a haircut today, going to cut off like 6 inches. I'm nervous and excited. #booksky #teasky ☕️🍵🫖 💙📚 🎧📚 🌶📚

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.
