I never met my grandfather because he died of liver cancer caused by Hep B before I was born. I was glad this vaccine was offered when I had my kids.

This is a big deal because government websites disproportionately need to be used by people with various accessibility needs. If someone's a senior citizen zooming in to a page to make the text large enough to see, that can absolutely break the layout if it's poorly designed (as these seem to be)

I think the killer app for AI is search, because it always gives you something that seems right quickly, rather than admit that the information doesn’t exist or requires talking to a person. But seeming right is not the same thing as right, and everyone who thinks that’s ok is why we are fucked.

I once drafted something I called, “the edgelords come to campus” but I had other things to finish. What I wrestled with is how this is different from or similar to staged class disruptions from liberal students. The difference is mostly about infrastructure.

During a few snow storms during my high school years in northern New York, I tried extremely hard to stay on the phone with various teenage boys but their parents kept making them go outside and shovel.
Also from Southern California, and the first time I had to shovel my driveway I was ready to sell my house and never return to the Northeast ever again

Personally I these white men just need to assimilate to the real Indigenous values of America, responsible stewardship of land & use of resources, cooperative community governance, hospitality, honor of spirit, instead of refusing to relinquish their barbaric European culture, we'd be better off.
Trump is doing 95% of the shit the Declaration of Independence was written about so Miller was kind of spot on about importing the horrors of… England.
