Regarding the context, one could also say:

"Trump is not an honest broker - but he is a broker, a real estate broker... and that's a problem because he's after his own profit only, but certainly not promoting 'peace'"

This morning I was on Deutsche Welle commenting on the current situation and the so-called "peace plan" (It's not a peace plan). While we rightly celebrate (hopefully) an end to slaughtering and suffering, the headline "Trump is not an honest broker" is an understatement.
